Appending a custom footer to messages
From GWAVA4
[edit]
Introduction
For legal and/or business reasons, organizations often need to append a uniform footer to all messages. GWAVA 4 fully supports this, with separate signatures for text and HTML portions of the message.
Under the appropriate Server, choose Manage Scanners, and click on the scanner configuration. Then click on Message services, followed by Signatures
- NOTE: As you make changes to your configuration, the disk icon
in the upper right corner of the page will become active and the words SAVE CHANGES will appear. Do not forget to click the icon to save your changes before moving to another page, or your changes will be lost.

Assigning Signatures
Turn on the signatures function for outgoing and/or incoming mail messages. Then enter the text that you would like in the HTML signature and HTML signature sections.
The HTML signature will automatically be previewed for you, and some common tags are available from the buttons on the right side of the browser screen.
- TIP: It is easy to embed an <IMG> tag pointing to your organization's logo as long as the logo is hosted on your web site.
