Environment
GWAVA4
Situation
Outbound mail with attachments not being sent.
Resolution
When you are sending outbound mail that has an attachment you will need to check and make sure that there is not a "fingerprint" setting that will block the attachment type.
If the message is being blocked or not being sent (pending status in GW client).
- Go to your GWAVA4 Management on the web (ip_address:49282)
- Go to Server/Scanner Management>Manage Scanners>"scanner">General settings>General configuration
- On the settings page click on "Show per event scan direction settings"
- Under "Scan outbound" uncheck the "Fingerprint" option
