Netware/Linux Problem/Question: Cannot login to QM2 after upgrade: QM2 upgrade interrupted will not load Resolution: 1.) Take GWAVA down (gwavadn for Netware | rcgwavaman stop for Linux) 2.) Copy your current gwavaup file and rename the copy to gwavaup.old or back this file up so that it can be used in the unlikely case of an error. (gwavaup.ncf for netware and gwavaup for linux) ( location: <gwava_install_directory>\gwava4\assets\bin) 3.) Open "gwavaup" and edit the file to load qms2 change line: LOAD address space=GWAVA4QMS VOL1:\GWAVA4\ASSETS\BIN\gwavaqms /ConsoleLog to: LOAD address space=GWAVA4QMS VOL1:\GWAVA4\ASSETS\BIN\qms2 /ConsoleLog 4.) Bring GWAVA up (gwavaup for NetWare | rcgwavaman start for linux) 5.) Netware: watch the "gwavaqms2" console screen to see the update status Linux: tail the current gwavaqms support log to see the update status |
