Situation

How can I use a Domain Block List such as http://www.spamhaus.org/dbl/?

Resolution

A Domain Block List (DBL) is a realtime database of spam domains including spam payload URLs, spam sources and senders ("right-hand side"), known spammers and spam gangs, and phish, virus and malware-related sites.

You can use a DBL server such as dbl.spamhaus.org to block blacklisted domains that show up in a web link. This is the exact same thing as an SURBL. To do this do the following:
 1) Go to GWAVA Management web page | server/scanner management | server | manage scanners | scanner | scanning configuration | anti-spam | SURBL

2) Type in
dbl.spamhaus.org and click on 'Add Server'.

3) Hit 'Save Changes'.

Messages will now be scanned using that DBL server.
