How do I configure my proxy settings so I can use the "Signature" scanning engine?

Situation

I am using the signature engine and I connect to the internet using a proxy server. How and where to I configure the proxy server settings in GWAVA 4.5?

Resolution

If you are using the "signature" engine for scanning and you are using a proxy server to connect to the internet you will need to configure GWAVA 4.5 with your proxy setting.

Open your GWAVA 4.5 Manager (<ip_address>:49282)
Go to: Server/Scanner Management | "server name" | Server management | Configure server
Click the "Proxy Server Configuration"
Enter your proxy server configuration and save changes
