QMS Introduction
From G4wiki
When a Quarantine service is triggered, GWAVA stores the message in the QMS (Quarantine Management System). Other ways to populate the QMS are less common, and discussed in Populating the QMS System.
The QMS serves the following purposes:
- Allows administrators and users to manage their quarantined mail. Management options include releasing, forwarding, deleting, whitelisting, etc. See QMS Task Details for more information.
- Allows administrators to configure the Digest Services, permitting regular e-mail notification of messages that have been stored in the QMS and easy retrieval.
Account Restrictions
The Administrator may set up many restrictions, including expiration of accounts, the maximum age of accounts, and whether new accounts are permitted in the Globals function tab of the QMS interface.
